We had a wonderful stay at Motel One London. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in the city center, which made everything easy and convenient for us. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London. We would especially like to thank Veronica, a lovely Romanian lady who works there. She is incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. It was such a pleasure to speak Romanian with her. She gave us many useful tips and information, helped us with everything we needed, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also want to mention Hamza, who is a very friendly and helpful young man. Both of them made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel!
Well located hotel and this was a revisit (first came in 2022). Good to see that tea and coffee are now in the room (this wasn’t here when we first visited). Lovely front seating area and good rooms. Only gripe was a male reception staff member that wasn’t very receptive to my husband requesting a hot drink for us both (we were just waiting in the reception area before checking out). Fortunately a female staff member stepped in and said of course we could have one. This male staff member was off putting and hence the reduction in rating for service.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Motel One Tower Hill. The hotel is modern, quiet, and perfectly located to explore London. The only thing that might be a matter of personal preference is that the windows cannot be opened. Apart from that, everything was excellent. We definitely recommend it!
Just home from a 2 night stay. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Very central for sightseeing plenty of tube stations to use. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent stay at Motel One London Tower Hill. The location is ideal, right by Aldgate station and perfectly placed for Bishopsgate and the City of London, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and landmarks within easy walking distance. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well presented. Rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, spotless, and quiet. The bed was mega comfy and the shower excellent, with the only minor drawback being the pillows, which were either too hard or too soft. The bar and lounge area is a great space to relax, and the staff were super helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout the stay. Fantastic value for money in central London. Would definitely stay again and happily recommend.
The rooms are pretty small but cosy, clean and the bed is comfortable. I paid extra for the continental breakfast which had a selection of cereals, fruits and pastries. Aldgate station is just around the corner and bus links outside the main doors. The staff were helpful and friendly, overall a nice stay.
Really wanted to give a 5 but just missed out. The rooms are the size you would expect and very clean and well insulted, main problem is you need to slam all the doors, they need soft close so guests not woken up. The bed is super comfy but pillows were not good, need improving. The service was amazing, really appreciated being able to check in late morning, the bar was a nice area with reasonable priced drinks. All staff encounters were polite and friendly.
Very pleased with the quality and service we have received from motel one. Our room was lovely and surprisingly quite despite the amount of traffic outside we didn't hear a thing. Our only dislike was the lack of any usb port's in the room or lounge area. There were plenty of 13amp sockets so we will be sure to take a plug top charger next time. Overall a lovely hotel within walking distance of the tower of London.
